Screening Reports

Claimant’s solicitors typically instruct these to determine if there is merit in a Claim. Whilst brief it is important to be sure there are reasonable grounds for Breach of Duty and then Causation. There is little point in spending time on a claim that will be easily defended. Often however there are aspects of the case that are not immediately obvious and these need to be teased out. These reports then can follow on to assist with the drafting of the Particulars of Claim.
